1550 series u-joints are huge compared to most other trucks. Thus making these shafts incredibly strong and long-lasting. Capable of performance and longevity in 1,200HP+ trucks and full-time towing applications. 1550 series shafts are factory in 2014-2018, but this shaft is backwards compatible all the way back to 2003. This means you can easily increase the strength from your factory 1410 or 1480 series driveshafts on 2003-2014 models.
