The new and improved upgraded BMW X5 and X5M front driveshaft version 2.0 is here! 
The 2.0 Version of this driveshaft features the following: 
- Forged chromoly steel yokeshaft with extended splines
- Forged solid-cross u-joints exclusive to FTD (now in 1210 series)
- Forged weld yokes 
- Forged flange yoke
- DOM tubing 
 
This shaft is compatible with the following vehicles:
- X5 E70 LCI models only
- X5 F15 4.4L and 3.0LDIESEL
- X5M F85 4.4L
- X6 F16 4.4L 
- X6M F86 4.4L 
 
Special fitment note: F15 diesels require extra clearance. You must shave down a portion of a casting rib on the side of the transmission in order to run this driveshaft.
